You who suffer

You who suffer

You who suffer, who you feel lost and alone,
who don’t know what to do any more of you
and who remain standing by the roadside,
know that your life is precious.
Its value doesn’t depend on any money which you have
nor of the number of people who appreciate you,
no more than of the social utility
which you believe to have or not to have.

"The Conscience is the Grace of the incarnation its free-will causes error and suffering"
 [Bhaktimàrga 1-3-12]

Its value doesn’t depend on your physical appearance. It is big for the Creator, as big as any lives. A soul is a soul. None is more or less worth than an other one.

If you stopped believing what the masters of the money, other people, your doubts, your fears and your thoughts say, you would feel the Peace and the Love who are inside you as well as all the attention of the Grace.

Accept no suffer anymore

Accept no suffer anymore, to want more what you have, accept to be there to do what you are doing or not. This way of the acceptance is sometimes difficult but it is the way to find the Peace.

The satisfaction is inside you and doesn’t depend on the size of you television screen, no more than on the year model of your car, on your social status nor on the house where you live.

You can live it if you accept to loosen the fists,
to accept you such as you believe to be
and to turn your attention towards the place, inside you,
where the Peace lies since your birth and up to the end.
If you do not know how to do, ask those who do it.

The time spent on this Earth is not long, don’t make as those who live as if they had to stay there for ever, amassing the properties, the residences, the capital, the relations, the influence, the obligees, the subordinates, the power, the gold, the grounds. All these quests are not worth coming on this Earth and forgetting the essential.

"The reason of your life is to return to One in full Conscience and freedom"
[Bhaktimàrga 1-3-14]

Start worrying about what you are in fact, about this inner Peace and look for the means to find it. Let you love and love in return the one who loves you without waiting for anything else of you but your happiness and your Conscience.

There is inside you all the consolation you need and somebody attentive in your suffering, all the time. It is really possible to do it.

The fulfillment

The fulfillment

The purpose of your living

You know it, you who are seeking or going on a spiritual path that the purpose of the living isn’t to live waiting to dye, nor to buy a house over 25 years and that you are not sure to be able to pay out and even if you can, you are not sure to live inside untill the end : so much older people have to live in medical residences, leaving their house empty.

You don’t set up in the existence as if you would stay for ever, aware of you impermanence and you turn your look inside you. A lot of people, sincerly attract from God’s love want to devote him their life and the way they found to do that is to follow the saint’s footsteps, no doing like them but taking inspiration in their virtues.

Getting closer to God

These persons are turned towards the others and are concerned with their problems, improving altruism and empathy. And more : they put the generosity, the fraternal sharing, the compassion above everything, confusing the consequences of the course and the path.

These generous persons are mistaken but that doesn’t diminish their virtues : not by being kind will get you closer to God but in getting closer to God you will become kind. When you explain to these seekers they have to turn their look inside them even to find the presence of this part of One that let us live, they reply : « don’t focus on yourself, selfishly, but towards you brothers…»

Isn’t it strange this binary thinking ? That means either turn inside in order to find One or turn towards your brothers ? Either the one or the other : either we have a propensity to turn ourselves towards the other and the spiritual research has nothing to do with that ; it is our nature, a good and nice nature and we follow our penchant. If we haven’t got this nature, it is useless pretending.

Turning towards the Peace

The important thing is to turn yourself where the divine part is the nearest of you. The nearest are not the others, the nearest is not the end of your noise, no : the nearest is inside you.

When you do this, you meet this divine part because it is there : inside you. When your Conscience meets this divine part that is inside you then you meet, at the same time, the divine part that is in other creatures, animals and vegetals. Don’t they have got the same divine part inside ? Aren’t they alive too ?

Compatible with the life in society

The path inwards is not incompatible with the life in society even with a strong social consciousness. There is the spiritual field, the individual one : we are born alone and we desembody alone, we take nobody with us, and there is the dharma (sacred duty) field that can, if we want, cover the world and its creatures.

You can be an activist for the preserving of the biodiversity, against the deforestation in Borneo or/and Amazonia. You can be activist for the justice around the world or, for a political party without forgetting the first reason of your coming on earth and if you have a social phobia or like solitude, then don’t push yourself : you can accomplish the reason of your birth.

''But let your first care be for his kingdom and his righteousness; and all these other things will be given to you in addition.'' [Matthew 6/33]

If it is necessary to think, and it is necessary, then think in sphere and not in circle…the thought is not an enemy when it is your Conscience that uses it in order to solve a problem refering to the dharma. The mind, the intelligence, the instruction are not enemies of the soul or brake to the spiritual life.

It is not cheese or dessert

Of course, when you sit in meditation, at this moment, it is not the time to cogitate… there is a time for everything. But when it is the Conscience, calmed by the communion with the inner Peace that is using the mind then the thought is not an enemy but a tool.

On the path, it is not cheese or dessert but chesse and dessert. Put everything back at its right place and don’t oppose what is not : materialism is not oppose to spirituality nor the body is opposed to the soul, either to turn towards the others is opposed to turn inwards where is the answer to all your questions and the solution to your biggest problem : to be without Him, an orphan lost in the existence.

There is people who devotes to the others and feels, doing it, a satisfaction that only this dedication can bring them. However, this dedication, as good as it is, won’t bring them the fulfillment of the purpose of their living. When we forget ourselves, in medition or in dedication, we feel the Peace, the true satisfaction, the Holy-Name, it is normal : he is inside us.

But to feel the Holy-Name is not enough to fulfill the reason of your living, no : you have to do it so much and so much that the Conscience become deeper. It is the purpose of the Path.

"Each incarnation gives to the soul a little bit more Conscience"

The true détachement

When it is about detachment as an essential virtue to the spirituality some people worry and speak about the utility to take advantage of its senses, the beauty which they see to get involved in this world and in the human relations.

The same do not understand that we are wary of the race to the money. They explain that a house where to live is neede and an automobile to move and ask to what would be of use long studies if you should not hope to remove from it legitimate returns on investment etc.

They also say that it is necessary to love his spouse, his parents, his children and his friends, that to remain a solitary person and poor is not desirable. They are right!

The detachment is not the lack of interest, the insensitivity,
the misanthropy nor the social banishment.
There is the indifference and, what in India we named,
the real detachment.

To want to increase your Conscience doesn’t mean going in the middle of the forest to live in hermit there. The spiritual life doesn’t prevent from liking the countryside rather than the city, from being interested in the Sumerian civilization, from being crazy about the soccer nor to find your neighbor charming.

The real detachment, that of a well understood spirituality, is the awareness of what is essential and of what is not. Be the owner of a beautiful house, with a big garden is not a problem, a problem is when your happiness depends on this house. One day a flood can destroy it. Will find yourselves completely downcast and crying saying: " my life is over ! " ?

That is applicable for everything: an automobile, furniture, a social position. You can acquire these properties and take advantage of them but basing everything on them is the unconsciousness: all these things can be removed from you all at once. Possess the things but don’t let them possess you.

It is as sentimental love: this feeling is essential for the human-beings. When he is missing love he becomes crazy and goes out as an ember on which nobody blows.

But to depend on a person to have this love is dangerous! Imagine: this person leaves you letting with your love for her/him. This love made sterile becomes suffering. This position is dangerous. The fear of losing this love makes you jealous and ends up making it lose.

In you there is inexhaustible source of satisfaction

How to reach the true detachment?
Not by making the detachment a moral,
intellectual posture nor by trying hard.
It comes when you found the source of the Peace
and the Love inside you.
It is the purpose of the path.

"The detachment opens the door of the Kingdom, the indifference closes it "
[Bhaktimàrga 1-5-12]

What to do with your life

We aspire to the Peace of the beginning

Some persons suffer from a chronic pain that no cause can explain. This pain that nothing can relieve is the absence of Conscience. In Kindergarten you had this Conscience, Conscience of the instant. Because you forgot it, you cannot identify this absence and you look elsewhere for what is inside you.

You forgot this happiness but you aspire to it,
looking for it everywhere without finding it.
Nothing that the human society offers you,
as to marry, to buy a house, to have a professional career
can quench your thirst.

It doesn’t mean you shouldn’t mary and have children, nor it is vain to buy a house, to have a good job. But these things can only bring the satisfactions they carry. The quest of these things shouldn’t prevent you to aspire to a deeper, essential satisfaction. This quest is not the purpose of the living.

Loving a person and be loved from this person won’t bring you the happiness. This sentimental love will give you what it carries in it and it is very good, why not ? But the true happiness doesn’t depend on what is outside you. The purpose of the living is not to share it with an other living being. When we have the Grace to find a person with whom we can share our existence, it is very nice and very fulfilling but it shouldn’t replace the personal spiritual approach.

Two persons will never form one

Two persons will never form one. Each soul is unique with a personal destiny. It doesn’t prevent to meet a person with whom the relationship is perfect. But this person is not born at the same time than you did and will not disembodie at the same moment either. His soul won’t follow you where you will go at the end. Even if you disembody at the same time, you will go separate ways.

Do you want to be really clear ? Then give up your illusions ! It is not sad, the Truth of your life, of your condition of human being, at the opposite !

To enjoy the pleasures of this existence,
it is good to find and then to draw
from the Source of all satisfactions.
Then, you can go and see elsewhere and enjoy this existence.
Go to the source, then open you to the rest.
This is the right order and not the other way round :
go to the rest to find the source.

This source is inside you, it makes you alive. What does a seeker seeks ? The cure of the suffering. To find it, the solution is to be aware. A baby is aware. To be aware let you go back to this simple happiness. The path gives you the tools to reach this : the four revealed techniques of meditation, the Agya and the teaching of the living master.

You’ve heard surely from the light, from the Light, from the warriors of the light…this Light exists really and it is possible to see it with your eyes. This big white light, that some says having seen during a near death experience, is shining inside you all your life. You just have to know how to do to see it. One of the four revealed techniques of the path allows to see this Light, to see it really.

It is not enough to see this Light. Your life has a purpose, a reason. It is not just a question to live in order to accumulate good karma in preparation for your next incarnation as a lot of buddhists believe, nor to deserve the liberation of the soul from the samsàra chains ! What should you do with your life ?

I know what to do with it : live it in full Conscience and give thank to whom that gives it to you at each moment. There is no need to seek further, it is enough, believe me. God gives you this gift and doesn’t want something else as you to accept him and enjoy it. When a father offers a present to his child, his joy is that the child enjoy it ! It is as simple as that.

The chains that attach you

In your existence, there are others chains as these from the samsàra and these chains have hundreds of links. You know, the chain used on an anchor, it doesn’t keep the ship fixed. The weight of the chain, over the whole length holds the ship in place. There are two more important links than the others, the ones of the two ends : the one that attaches the the anchor to the chain and the one that attaches the chain to the ship.

The chains that attach you are made from hundreds of links and these links are your attachments. There is an attachment that is stronger than the others, it is the attachment to yourself. You are attached to a self-image, but this image is an illusion. If you would manage to get rid of this attachment, it would be as if the first link of the chain, the one that bind the ship, has been detached : the whole chain would sink and the ship could follow its way towards its haven.

"The attachment is made with burning and endless desires
Which chain you to the fruits of your acts
[Bhaktimàrga 1-2-32]

But this attachment is the strongest, then begin, if you want to release yourself, with less strong attachments. But how can you detach ? It is impossible to detach yourself waking up in the morning and saying : «  I am going to detach myself today from this or that ». No, before detaching yourself, you have to attach yourself to something else, to something that frees you. It is the purpose of the original yoga : to give you this thing that frees you, this thing to which you can attach you.

It is necessary to know as well from which self you have to detach. How can you make the distinction between your true self and the self made by the others ? This is the purpose of the path too, to allow you to make this distinction, to have this discernment.

I often read on the web that it would be necessary to connect to our soul.
But if we are not connected to our soul
and it is necessary to do that, who is not connected ?
If you assume that you are your soul,
who want to connect to it ?
The purpose of the path is to allow you to see clearlier
in all of these notions.

You are mistaken the identity. You are not the one you believe to be but your soul. Your learned knowledge, your concepts are the fruits of the PC of your body, the brain and you are the operator. If you don’t master it, it goes literally freewheel. This is what causes the problems. Don’t let your brain without master, without Conscience.

You are not your personality. Your are the one that your are since your birth ! The personality varies according to the events but your nature doesn’t vary. Find youself. How ? Ask for more explanations on the contact page from the blog and you will get an answer. Then you are free to accept or not. Meanwhile don’t give to much confidence in your concepts, in what you believe to know and don’t hold so much on your opinion on things.

Satsang: for what purpose all this ?

For what purpose all this ?

On the path, the purpose is to be centered
as you possibly can the day long but for what purpose ?
There is a purpose, a reason for all this.
Beyond the Realization, there is a reason of being
to your birth, on this Earth !
And this reason is the same
for all the living beings
beyond the individual goals.

In the eastern spiritualities, it is spoken about the samsàra, the liberation of its chains. But when you love the life, you have the Grace to live in a developed country and missing nothing essential, you aren’t keen of the liberation. However, in Truth, this life will have an end and its purpose is not only to live it.

The purpose of your existence
is not only to live it

When you are born, it is not without reason.
The purpose of you existence is not only to live it.
If it would be only this, why would you be a human being,
having hindsight, this intelligence and the free-will ?
It would be enough to be an animal.

You are not here just to live. There is a purpose for your birth. One day you arrive, an other you go, between both there is a time room that is planned to do something specific : this is the purpose of your existence. As there is a Truth, good for everybody beyond the individual truths, there is a purpose to the life.

It is not only to build a house. It is crazy ! There is people whose goal is to build a house and they spend twenty or thirty years of their life to pay it in forthseeing of their old age. How many old people are spending their last days outside their house for which they consent so much sacrifices ? Then, what of these houses ? What of these years spent to pay them ? The purpose of the life is not to obtain a social satus. How many years lasts a career ? When you have been a lawyer, what are you when your are retired ? A retired lawyer ?

The purpose of the life, is it to marry and have children ? A child doesn’t stay a child, then ? What is the purpose of the life ? To work ? No : to work is a mean. To have an accomodation ? Of course, no !

There is a purpose for the life

There is a purpose for the life and the fact to stay centered all the day long participes to the fulfillment of this purpose. In the Bhaktimàrga (the book of the path), it is said verse 1-3-14 : "The reason of your life is to return to One in full Conscience and freedom ". By attending the inner Light, the day you will pass on the other side and where you will find it again, it won’t be unknow to you, you will feel confident. This is the purpose. The existence is the school for the passage.

With the Conscience you recieved the free-will

With the Conscience you recieved the free-will. This essential freedom is consubstantial to your humanity. It is because of this essential freedom that the men doesn’t stay always in the beatitude, that he let the centrifugal force of the senses go out of it. If he would be obliged to stay in the beatitude, would he be free ? The freedom has a price and its price is the confusion, the absence of Conscience and of discernment.

The important thing
is to live the present moment

The important thing is to live the present moment and to enjoy it, to be happy in the instant. All the ideas, the concepts that you can have about the life doesn’t help to enjoy the moment. To enjoy the moment you have to be aware of the moment and to do that you have the four revealed techniques of meditation, the Agya and the teaching of the living guide.

When you have received the four techniques
and follow the Agya,
after a while you realise that
when you are aware of the moment, you are happy,
fulfill and when you are not is it the contrary,
then you prefer to be in the Holy-Name.

That becomes your first motivation : to feel good. Your existence eases and become true. You don’t priorise any more the satisfaction of your desires. The Observance doesn’t require the impossible. Do according to your life. There are three degrees in the practice, for everybody the right one according to your desire, your need and your possibilities. It is necessary to practice regularly, this is the Constance. If you can meditate only half an hour every day, ok ! But do it every day. There is also the satsang of the blog in order to inspirate you and the guide to answer your questions.

The beatitude

The beatitude

The beatitude is not only a word, it is a reality which every person can know daily in his life. You can know love for another person, feeling which submerges you so much that every gesture of her/him leaves you speechless.

You can be lying on the grass, in disregard of the danger, whereas a thunderstorm unwinds a symphony of drums, bass drums, cymbals, wind and rain, and stay so until its departure and get back on your feet drunk with emotion.

You can know the dawn in the middle of the woods. A light mist floats betweenthe trees and the cobwebs are full of dewdrops which are as diamonds. It rises, from heathers, a flavor of patchouly and a roe deer looks at you, a little farther. You don’t dare to move anymore and hardly to breathe.

You can sing bhajans in India, in the evening in the Satsang room of an ashram. The citare and the tablas playing and their music billows, among smokes of incense and humble shine of ghee lamps. Your soul, inflated as a balloon, rises with the notes and the perfumes.

It is possible to describe, in the infinity, magic moments of your life on Earth and making the existence as a tale for real ... nevertheless never any moment can bring so much Peace, satisfaction and Love as the Bliss. The Bliss is concentrated in the Meditation when we know how to do.

Then, the questions of religion, smaller or greater vehicle, reincarnation, karma and all these sorts of things seem to you vain. When we are in search of a treasure we devour tons of archives and travels thousands of kilometers. But when this treasure is found, when we have it at home, at arrangement, what would be of use the questions, rebus, riddles and the explorations for ?

The most wonderful is that everybody has this treasure inside him. What a pity to look for what you already have. You know what vanity means : what is vain, what is of no use. The human being is full of these vanities.

It is not forbidden to possess.
It is not forbidden to want to put a lot into the community life
nor to love another person, to have children with her/him.
It is not forbidden to be interested in the history of nations,
art, explorations, religions and old cults,
no more than in the cosmogony
but why not taking advantage of the Bliss ?

It is sad that you don’t enjoy it while it is so close to you, that it is inside you ! It is in the instant, it is the treasure. Do you so much want what the world offers you that you have no time to dedicate to the Bliss ?

"He who forgets himself unites with One in the bliss"
[Bhaktimàrga 2-5-29]

Love is not the purpose

Love is not the purpose

Love between people is not the reason for being of your existence, in other words: you are not alive to love people nor to be loved. It is good to love and to be loved it is better that to hate everybody and to be hated but it is not the subject, the purpose of the human life.

I often read, on the social networks, the sharing of people who advocate the empathy, the compassion, love for others and praise the deserves of such Indian wise person, such guru which speaks about love, to develop your altruistic qualities.

This gurus are not spiritual masters. Doubtless these people are holy people, really but not gurus. A wise person who teaches you love is a beautiful person who deserves your respect and your affection and an example of the fact what a human being may be for the good of all, but the purpose, the reason for being of your life is not to love and a guru has to allow you to discover and to achieve the reason of your coming on Earth, not to teach you love. The saints are here for that and a guru is not necessarily a saint.

A holy person maybe an example not a spiritual guide. The purpose of the human life is not to become holy either a kind person or a lover.

This idea is well an inheritance of the Christian religion: "Have love one for another; even as I have had love for you, so are you to have love one for another" [John 13:34] but really the Christ did not address to all the people but to his very rare disciples and he sent them this command so that they stand by and examples in their mission of sermon.

The exact quotation of the Christ, as it was passed on to us by the Gospels is: " My dear children, I am only to be with you a little longer. Then you will be looking for me: and as I said to the Jews, so now I say to you, Where I am going you may not come. I give you a new law: Have love one for another; even as I have had love for you, so are you to have love one for another. By this it will be clear to all men that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another ".
[John 13: in 33.34.35]

A spiritual guide, a guru has to bring his disciples, his Chela to the Liberation of the Samsâra chains - the cycle of the incarnations- by teaching them a "method", or Sàdhana allowing them to go out of the illusion, the confusion.

This true, deep spiritual approach takes place inside the disciple and the others are not concerned at all. Your relation with the others is not taken into account in the deep Meditation, or dhyàna. The biggest mystic isolate themselves from the world and dedicate themselves completely to the quest of the Liberation.

You are not all intended to live in hermits and doubtless have a social and a family life, and a loving one, and for this kind of relationship love can be conceived and can even justify itself. it is not bad to be altruistic or full of empathy but this quality of feelings, once again, will not take you forward one millimeter towards the fulfillment of your reason for living, the Liberation.

"Each incarnation gives to the soul a little bit more Conscience"
[Bhaktimàrga 1-2-14]

The Christian religion teaches, on the contrary, that to cultivate these feelings, these virtues and this behavior makes you go to the steps of the Christ and, so, win the Celestial kingdom. Nothing in the teaching of the Christ, which I know and which I respect, does not really say that and the Kingdom to win is inside that he said it !

" If those who guide you tell you: well, the Kingdom is in the sky, then the birds of the sky will anticipate you. If they tell you: it is in the sea, then fishes will precede you; but the Kingdom is within you and it is outside of you. "
[Thomas, logion 3]

The purpose of your life is either to love nor to be happy.

Love and happiness are certainly more pleasant than the hatred or the indifference and the misfortune and if you have the choice, it is not stupid to favor them and to look for them but nothing prevents from loving, from being loved and happy while working at your Liberation.

What I want let you understand is that they are different things. If you are seeker, eager to find the real, fundamental reason of your life, why it has been given to you, then the search for the well-being, the sentimental love should not divert you of your spiritual fulfillment.

A guide, a guru which commend love between people attracts a lot of people because this speech pleases them and corresponds to their convictions but a guide is not there to flatter the people. Are you sure that a guru, that a guru which attracts most people delivers the most spiritually and coherent teaching ?

The purpose of the life is either to love or to be happy. The purpose of your life, as of any lives, is to return at the source of everything, where your soul comes from, in full Conscience. To achieve this, there are things to do and love is not a part of it even if it isn’t prohibided nor unpleasant to love when we are loved in return by another person.

the desires and the needs

the desires and the needs

The Peace

Really the Peace is the closest state to the real human nature. I would understand that you doubt it. Indeed the confusion, the doubt, the fear, the anger and the incomprehension seem better to characterize the human nature. Nevertheless, as unbelievable as it may sound, the state of inner-Peace is the bottom of the human nature.

To know the confusion, the doubt, the fear, the anger it is necessary to be active in the human society, to forge links, to interact. Whereas to live the inner-Peace ? and feel the Love it is enough to turn inwards. The inside is closer to you than the outside !

Few people live the Peace of mind. How to explain this paradox? The purpose of the path is not to explain, it is to offer the possibility of drinking to those who are thirsty of Conscience.

A confusion

Nevertheless it is a cause of sufferings about which it is necessary to speak: the confusion between the desires and the needs. Some let go themselves adrift on the ceaseless stream of their desires, hooked to the consumption as we are of narcotics, alcohol, tobacco and games. Those are not frustrated as long as they have the money necessary for the satisfaction of their dependence. For those who have no average, sufficient for the satisfaction of their desires, the frustration is there. Some put themselves in inextricable situations and all their existence is impacted.

Others go to the inverse excess: they deprive themselves of everything to reach a detachment which they consider convenient to their realization. Anchorites remain locked into hermitages. These deprivations let them sometimes live spectacular states of modified consciousness, but is all what is spectacular the sign of the Truth? Imagine that the devil exists…. you would consider it incapable to do miracles?

The justifiable needs

The essential needs have to be satisfied and they are of the dharma: by leaving of the postulate that "the body is God's temple" you have to treat it as well as the believers of the religions maintain their temples, mosques, synagogues and other churches.

"To meet your needs is dharma" [Bhaktimàrga 1-4-17]

The difference between need and desire

Distinguish needs and desires. It is possible to satisfy a need, not a desire: a desire chases away another. If you are keen to go on a way of the Truth, you will satisfy your needs, but will avoid the gearing of the desires.

You will have to choose

If you are thirsty of the true spirituality you will make a choice. The total abstinence, the frugality are not the poverty. The wild consumption doesn’t lead to the happiness. It is not a question of being lacking everything but just to go on the paths of One and to find the Peace and His Love there. Not to restrain the round of the desires prevents from finding the inner-Peace It is not matter of morality.

A rich would receive the Revelation of the four techniques of the original-yoga and would sit down in Meditation, he would live the inner-peace, because One offers himself to those who offer themselves. The problem is that he won’t ask for the Revelation. He has other centers of interest.

To be owner and to pay in cash your house doesn’t prevent from going inwards in order to find there the real Peace. It is not required to be a tenant of a suburb low-income or homeless. To have several delirious luxury houses, with heliport, swimming pool with cave, tennis court, which remain idle three quarters of the time is useless and counterproductive for the spiritual evolution: one cannot be spiritual and excessively materialistic : it is necessary to choose. The rich made their choise.

The mystic heart of the world

The mystic heart of the world

Sometimes some people say that the path is a kind of mystic syncretic recently invented. What is this crime of syncretism that some people accuses it ? The dictionary gives this definition: " philosophic or religious System which tends to mix several different doctrines ".

To mix several different doctrines would be bad ? What different doctrines would the path try to mix ? It recognizes traces of the Truth in certain words of the Christ, told in Gospels, all the Gospels, and in those of Lao-Tse, in Tao-Te-King and of Krishna, in Bhagavad-Gîtà and of Guru Nanak, in Guru Granth Sahib. In the awakening of Gautama, in the Manicheanism of Mani, in the Zoroastrianism and in the certain texts of Veda and the treatise of the original-yoga (Yogasûtra), the path recognizes its teaching also.

It should be noted that all these doctrines, that of the Christ including, arise from this perimeter, the mystic heart of the world, and have the same origin. They influenced eachother as they appeared.

The oldest doctrine would be the one of the original yoga, named recently as : the path of freedom. This yoga existed well before the Yogasûtra of Patanjali was written. This doctrine knew many the other names, but as the harappan civilization, from which it arises, didn’t know the human writing nobody knows which was its name originally.

At the time of the Aryans, it should be named Veda, because this word means Knowledge [para] but as the word Veda being used to named the founding books of the Vedaism and the Hinduism, it is not possible.

There have been the zoroastrianism, reform of the Mazda’s religion, then the Vedaism, then the Jainism, the Hinduism, the Buddhism, at the same time as the Taoism, the yoga as described by Yogasûtra and sikhism.

All these doctrines turn around of the same core, the same Truth. As for the Taoism, which is considered as a Chinese doctrine, it was reported that Lao-Tse, if he really existed as a natural person [the same doubts as for Patanjali], had disappeared for years after having gone in the southwest borders of the Chinese empire. These borders would have been able to be the North of our mystic heart.

To gather these doctrines is not the syncretism, to have divided them is unconsciousness.

But are they different doctrines ? The fact that they are not from the same period, that they are not written, originally, in the same language and that they are not revealed by the same person would make of them different doctrines?

Jesus Christ was never Christian. Sri Gautama, of the clan of Sakya, was never Buddhist or Taoist Lao-Tse no more than Guru Nànak was Sikh. The Christianity, the Vedaism, the Hinduism, the Sikhism, the Taoism are doctrines but none was established by the one of which they take advantage.

The original path doesn’t try to mix the Christianity, the Buddhism, the Taoism and the Sikhism. It delivers a teaching that exists since millenniums and that the awakened, from which it quotes the teaching
s, delivered at their times.

The Knowledge
There are numerous doctrines, religions, sects but of the Truth, the Knowledge, there is only one. Its name doesn’t matter, in which language it was taught, by whom and in which time: the Truth is one and inseparable. Its Knowledge is named by the Sanskrit word Veda which means: knowledge [ apa ]. It has always existed, taught or not and that it was transformed, each time the living master died, in doctrine and in different religion doesn’t affect nor divide it.

The form of the Knowledge often changed but the bottom remains true to form. The Christ spoke about it and it is only in spite of himself that he was transformed in divinity walking on the water and resuscitating the deads. Buddha had no magic powers either, no more than all other human beings. They were all awakened, Rishi, Siddha [perfects-yogis].

The path gets through all these teachings as a thread through pearls, to make a necklace. It is this ancient teaching which it delivers and if this teaching finds itself, when we have the understanding to understand it, in others it is not the sign of a syncretism but rather that of an identity.

In India this tradition exists in the yoga, that of the path is a Knowledge [jnana or Veda] in the meaning of "para", the "sensual" Knowledge of the subtle and spiritual things, rather than the knowledge [ jnana ] in the meaning of apara, which is the knowledge of the things of the world, the bookish theories. Many confuse them.

The Harappan civilisation

The original-yoga has its origin in India, and this "Indian" Knowledge comes very very far back in time. It goes back to thousands of years and would have been discovered within the Harappan Ciivilization disappeared 1800 years before J.C.

This civilization was held in cities on the banks of the river Sarasvatî and the rivers of its hydraulic pond. Due to a mega-earthquake this river disappeared, but the spirituality of some of his inhabitants remained. The Harappans scattered towards the Kashmir of this time and the North of India.

At the same time, people began to settle down little by little, peacefully during hundreds of years in this continent. It came from a powerful and civilized empire which was held in the North of the current Pakistan, in a region named Bactriane. Its capital was Bactres, current Balkh of Afghanistan or Bahlikâ, for Indians.

This country was at the origin of the Persian Empire and of the Zoroastre religion [Zarathoustra] which was the first monotheist religion. It advocated the humility, the self-giving and the good mood, the essential keys of a spiritual life. These values are ours.

These Aryan people brought his religion and his Indo-European language, become the Sanskrit. The word Aryan is the english form of the Sanskrit word Arya, meaning faithful, noble and referred to the speakers of Indo-European languages. They met the Harappans and the yoga they practised. Erudits, heirs of the harappan mystic, the rishi, told them an ancient teaching in form of stanzas learnt by heart which became Veda, around 1600 before J.C, by the mix made with their own mystic.

Birth of the Vedaism

So was born, little by little, the Vedaism from where comes the Hinduism. The syncretism existed already, because if the Vedaism is a syncretism between the teaching of the original-yoga of the Harappan civilization and the Zoroastrianism, the Hinduism is the mixture of the Vedaism and the polytheistic faiths of India at this time.

The end of the Harappan civilization is situated at about 1900-1800 years BC and the beginning of the Vedaism, the writing of the Veda, at about 1600-1500 years BC. Since the end of the Harappan civilization up to the writing of the Veda, by the Aryans, between 300 and 400 years have passed, as for the teachings of the Buddha later.

But these mix did not remove the source. The original-yoga, the Knowledge kept being taught to very small number of disciples. The majority adopted the doctrines of the majority, the Vedaism, the Hinduism etc.

The Hinduism bears the traces of the vedic inheritance with its Trimùrti, all the three forms of the supreme God to create and manage the life. From a historic point of view, the Trimurti succeeds the vedic trinity formed by Agni, Vâyu and Sûrya, three aspects of the sacrificial Fire.

On the path of freedom we are used to named this supreme God by the word "One" or The One. It is the equivalent of Brahman.

In the Veda, Brahman exists since and for ever. He is in anything but transcends anything, he is the divine source of any Life. He is the divine Absolute: all the gods of the Indian religion are only his facets, incarnations of Brahman.

The Atharva-Veda indicates that Ishvara [Suprême Lord] is an attribute of Brahman. Ishvara can be completely identified with the supreme Truth Brahman. Here is how Brahman is defined in Bhagavad-Gîtâ:

"This universe entire is penetrated of Me, in My not expressed form. All the beings are in Me, but I am not in them. In same time, nothing of what is created is in Me. See My supernatural power! I support all the beings, I am present everywhere, and yet, I remain the source even of any creation. Just as in ethereal space is held the powerful, blowing wind everywhere, thus, knows it, in Me are held all the beings." [Bhagavad-Gîtà 9:4]

One

In the Bhaktimàrga [the book of the path] here is how He is described:

1-1-1: One is the King and Kingdom, never born, eternal, reigning over everything.

1-1-2: Infinitly big and small, there is part of One in everything.

1-1-3: Seeing everything gathered, impossible to count, we see only one negligible part of One.

1-1-4: Without limits, container and content, One is in everything.

1-1-5: The sight in conscience sees One in everything, the one of the illusion sees only the forms.

1-1-6: The Holy-Name cannot be said, to listen to It is entering the Kingdom.

1-1-7: One is the inside and the outside , the water of the river and its bed, the wind and the sky, the emptiness and the fullness.

1-1-8: Everything comes from the not-born, coming from nowhere, without end, all beginning comes from One, all ends up there.

1-1-9: Of all things here or there visible or unvisible, One is the origin and the end.

1-1-10: One is the fire and the stone, the ocean and the fish, he contains everything and nothing contains him.

1-1-11: One is since ever and for ever as a whole in the moment.

1-1-12: One is the single and the two Creator and creature Kingdom and King, sky and earth outside and inside.

1-1-13: The created being has part of One in it, but One in entirety is not in it inside.

1-1-14: One is the cause and the consequence.

1-1-15: Word is One contained.

1-1-16: One is the word that cannot be said; the heard Holy-Name.

1-1-17: One is Nectar, Light and the two sounds, hi is the music too and, in the human being, the aptitude.
1-1-18: Word is resulting from One and One remains in His Kingdom.

1-1-19: One His Verb is in the form and outside.

1-1-20: The Holy-Name is Light since ever His Music is played and says its will for the entire world.

1-1-21: One does not have a beginning, the beginning comes from It, each created being has Word and Word is its life.

The fascination of a yogi for the Gods can be an obstacle in the achievement of Brahman:

He who is fascinated by a God, how great he can be, has more trouble conquering Brahman than the earthworm that still expects an infinite evolution. Therefore while adoring with enthusiasm Shiva, the Mother herself, the yogin should never cease keeping with its conscience the single one and prevalent nostalgia of the Absolute. Then its worship of Shiva, the Mother [Aditi] or any other God will lead him to the Goal of his race.” [Translation of Some aspects of a sādhanā, Ma Suryananda Lakshmi, Albin Michel, 1963, p. 117]

The three heads of the Trimùrti are Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva.

 1: Brahma

He is the creative god of the matter and the universe. He arises from a flower of lotus appearing from the navel of Vishnu. Brahma would be an emanation of One or Brahman, and the creator of the living beings. He would be the personification of the Creation of One.

Brahma would have a wife, Sarasvatî, at the same time his wife and his daughter. The name Sarasvatî means " which is as the water ". She is the goddess of the Knowledge, The Word.

Remember that meaning of the word knowledge or jnana [Veda]: it is about two different knowledge: para and apara. Apara, the knowledge of the " unrefined ", material and intellectual things and Para, the mystic, sensual, subtle and inner Knowledge or Veda. In the Rig-Veda, Sarasvatî is described as the origin of the words of Truth and the noble thoughts. The words of Truth, on the path, are Satsang.

Thus Sarasvatî appears as the mistress of the Verb, the one who teaches what Rishi passed on. Among seven, the Rishi would have been yogi who, in state of deep Meditation, [Dhyana or samadhi] heard the hymns of the essential Veda, emanated from Brahman. It was, in fact, awakened ones which heard, saw, comprehended the essential Veda. This essential Veda is the Kingdom of which Brahman or One is the King. We attributed later to Sarasvatî the maternity of the Sanskrit language.

These Rishi had The Knowledge or Veda. The first ones of them must have received the four techniques of the original-yoga. They were the heirs of the harappan mystic. In any case as for the first ones but it is possible that, later, this term of Rishi served to indicate people who, as the griots in Africa, had the responsibility to recite Sùkta of the Rig-Veda.

The writing of the Veda lasted for a long time, enough so that several generations of Rishi handled that. All were not certainly initiated to four techniques of the original yoga which constituted the base of Veda or The Knowledge [Shruti, the path]

The origin of the Sarasvatî legend, wife of Brahma and goddess of the Verb, comes from the river lost and forgotten on the banks and in the hydraulic pond on which lived this lost civilization who would have been born at about 5000 years BC and would have stopped at about 1900 years BC. The Veda would have been written at about 1500 years BC under the dictation of Rishi, awakened yogis heirs of the harappan mystic [origin of the path].

The mount of Brahma is the swan, which is able to recognize the good from the bad. In India the word for swan is said Hans and it is the symbol of the guide of the path, sri yoganand alias josé. The fact of discerning inevitably the good from the bad, the truth from the false is one of the attributes of an awakened : the just-sight.

It is not because an individual has this discernment that it becomes an awakened, but it is because he is an awakened that he possesses this discernment. I remember that the awakening arrives brutally, as a thunderclap in a summer sky, after a Nirvikàlpa-Samadhi, during a deep Meditation.

The semantics of the name Veda extends thus from the meaning of "Knowledge, discovery, revelation" describing the experience of the first "vedic" wise men who heard the essential sound [Holy-Name or Verb] shown by the original-Veda, [The Kingdom] until the meaning of "science, knowledge" [jnana, apara] given today by the Hinduism to this word.

Avesta, the sacerdotal code of the zoroastrians, drafted in an archaic, about 3000 years old indo-Iranian language, the avestic language appears to be very close to the Indian vedic texts of the Rig-Veda, where we find the same kind of grammar as in the holy book of Zoroastre.

Some people think that it is by acquiring a vast knowledge [jnana or apara] they will have the just-sight and they practise their yoga with this idea but they are wrong: while finding the Truth in oneself, by dhyana, or deep Meditation without thoughts, one find the jnana, or para, the revealed Knowledge.

2: Vishnu
Vishnou [or Hari] would be the one which would protect the stability of the world. He would work hand in hand with Brahmà. Brahmà creates the life and Vishnou maintains it and protects the balance from it. He is also the God of time.

His wife is Lakhmi. His second wife is Bhumi, the Earth. He is a protector of the human beings and the rescuer. He cannot intervene directly in the events, he is then incarned in an avatar. Krishna is considered as one of these avatar. As a general rule the awakened, or perfect-masters, are often described as avatars of Vishnou. Obviously they are myths. God is One and these three heads of Trimùrti are only personifications of the powers of One.

3: Shiva
He is the master of the yogi and the force which participates of the intention of One [Brahman] by the creation and the maintenance of the illusion, the Màyà and of the Revelation of the way to go beyond the illusion by the yogi practice.

Shiva would thus be the demonstration of the dharma and the Agya. It would be the hyphen between the Creation and the increated infinity, Kingdom of Brahman. He would give the sight allowing to see One in the multiple. He opens the third eye, ajna-chakras or jnana chakshus, half-opened, which perceives beyond the material reality, One in the multiple.

As you see we far away from a recent invention taken out of the imagination of a self-taught visionary ! But there will be always criticisms and it wouldn’t be wise to hope to silence them by arguments even factual. This text had for subject, after all, only to make the link between all the essential mystics.

In this time of the world, which lasted five thousands years, the origin of the Indian spirituality was this region represented by the map in illustration. The original yoga of the harappan civilization became established there, for 8000 years ago, the Mazda’s religion in Iran, then its monotheist reform, the Zoroastrianism of Zoroastre [Zarathoustra] there, for 3700 years ago. Then came the Vedaism from which results the Hinduism, the Jainism, the Buddhism then the yoga such as it is known and recognized since the Yogasûtra or the treatise of the original-yoga.

As there was a Fertile Crescent for the agriculture, there was a mystic heart of the world from where arise so many important doctrines. The Christ, later, was influenced by the same mystic that he found during his journeys before the age of thirty years and when he continued his existence until more than hundred years after the episode, true or not, of the cross.

This geographical zone was very important at that time and in narrow relations with other continents, as China, Greece and Central Asia. It was the heart beating of the world such as we know him well before the Mediterranean Basin and the three major religions of the book.
